Au venit niste oameni de la Armată, cred că erau trei, dimineaţa, pe la sapte. Când i-am văzut în poartă, deja am ştiut. Au zis că s-a întâmplat un accident. Şi eu i-am întrebat dacă a murit. Doar au ridicat din umeri.” Tatăl eroului: „Şi de ce să mă încălzească pe mine că-i erou? Păi, ce, au venit talibanii peste noi? Sau acolo e, cumva, ţara noastră?”

„Am aflat cum a murit doar de la televizor”

După Valea Mărului, din comuna Budeasa, judeţul Argeş, se termină asfaltul. Intrăm pe un drum de ţară, desfundat. Satul Caloteşti se întinde molcom, pe uliţe, spre dealuri. Căutăm numărul 201. Avea şi o garsonieră, în Curtea de Argeş, dar stătea aici, cu noi, că, vedeţi, ne-am făcut casa asta. În 2007, în iulie, a plecat în prima misiune în Afganistan. Sigur că m-am temut pentru viaţa lui, dar atunci a scăpat. S-a întors în ianuarie 2008, s-a căsătorit cu Mihaela, a venit pe lume şi Cristian, primul lui băiat. Uitaţi-l aici, în fotografie, acum are trei ani. Ţinea la el ca la ochii din cap. Si ăsta mic e Florin, acuş împlineşte un an. Pe el l-a văzut doar la ecograf, nora mea era însărcinată când s-a întâmplat nenorocirea. Că de aia i-am şi spus să nu mai plece în Afganistan. Mi-a răs­puns doar că trebuie. Nu ne-a povestit cum e acolo, zicea că e confidenţial, da’ e bine. Mă suna ori de câte ori era câte un accident, ca să ştiu că e în viaţă. Când a plecat în a doua mi­siune, în 28 ianuarie 2010, nu era în apele lui, mi s-a părut, cumva, gânditor. Ori avea o pre­simţire, ori ştia cât de greu e acolo. Ne-a tot zis, de câteva ori, să avem grijă. Nu ştiu nici acum ce-o fi vrut să spună cu asta. Ultima dată am vorbit cu el în 15 februarie, m-a sunat că era ziua mea. La o săptămână, mi l-au adus în coş­ciug. La 31 de ani…”

0751… Telefonul acesta a supravieţuit exploziei din Afganistan, în care a murit posesorul, Florin Bădiceanu. Pentru părinţii lui, e aproape un obiect de cult. Încă funcţionează, chiar şi aşa hârbuit şi lipit.

Când e să-i împarţi, se duc imediat. Casa nu e gata şi chiar se grăbesc, vor să o treacă pe numele nepoţilor. Apoi celelalte, toate scumpe, mai ales medicamentele. De când cu necazul ăsta, li s-au răscolit toate cele: inimă, ochi, tensiune. Mă uit la tatăl sublocotenentului Florin Bădiceanu si îmi dau seama că durerea bărbătească se asază altfel. Într-o silă de toate, evident că molipsitoare: „E o prostie povestea asta cu trupe româneşti prin Afganistan, că doar nu-i războiul nostru! Ne-am găsit să facem ordine la alţii, când la noi e totul vraişte! Si-apoi ce Armata lu’ peşte e asta, care ne trimite nouă copiii să moară pe-acolo şi pe ai lor îi trimit la studii în străină­tate? Sunteţi singurii de ne întrebaţi dă sănăta­te, Armata ne-a uitat, n-a mai venit nimeni să vadă ce mai fac proştii ăia de părinţi. Ne-au ajutat cu înmormântarea şi gata, acum nu mai existăm. Or, nu Armata l-a crescut şi l-a educat, poate cu sacrificii. Da, pe băiatul ăsta mic, năs­cut după moartea lui Florin, l-a botezat minis­trul Oprea. Poate aşa, de imagine. După biseri­că, au dat o masă la unitatea militară din Curtea de Argeş. Ne-au zis că părinţii eroului să iasă în faţă, că vrea ministrul să le vorbeas­că. Doar a dat mâna cu noi, ca şi când ar fi dat cu mistria, dar se uita în altă parte. Toţi au câş­tigat de pe urma băiatului nostru, numai noi am rămas cu durerea. Pe nepoţi, care erau sin­gura mângâiere, nu i-am mai văzut demult. Nici nu ştim unde locuiesc acum, doar sperăm să le fie bine. Florin, ăla mic, e leit tatăl lui!”

„Nu ştim exact nici cum a murit, nu ne-a spus nimeni. Doar ce-am văzut la televizor, că au trecut peste o mină şi au sărit în aer”.

La doi ani după nuntă, a venit… înmormântarea.

Soţia sublocotenentului decedat a plecat din Caloteşti imediat după înmormântare. Întâi la o soră, în Piteşti, apoi şi-a cumpărat apartament. Am vorbit cu ea doar la telefon, nu a vrut să ne vedem: „Trebuie să mă refac, să uit, nu mai pot să vorbesc despre asta. Copiii sunt bine, în rest nu am ce să vă spun”.

Mihaela Bădiceanu şi copiii ei au primit toate compensaţiile prevăzute de legislaţie pentru astfel de situaţii: asigurarea de 80 de mii de euro; o sută de solde, respectiv un miliard şi jumătate de lei vechi, ajutor de înmormântare, pensie de urmaş pentru copii. După ce iese din concediul de maternitate, femeia va fi angajată în Armată, la transmisiuni, cu grad de pluto­nier. Mai are şi garsoniera din Curtea de Argeş şi maşina, rămase de la soţul ei. În aceste con­diţii, respectiv fără griji, cel puţin materiale, poate se gândeşte, într-o zi, să renunţe la rup­tura provocată între bunici şi nepoţi. Părinţii sublocotenentului Florin Bădiceanu nu vor nimic altceva decât să-i mai vadă pe copii. Că doar atâta le-a mai rămas. Măcar din când în când. Chiar dacă asta nu intră în compensaţiile oferite de Ministerul Apărării Naţionale…
