Un Marcel Iureş cum n-aţi mai văzut niciodată! Oarecum încurcat, emoţionat peste măsură. Îşi frământă mâinile, nu-şi găseşte cuvintele, zâmbeşte în gol. Prietenii ştiu de ce! Este în cel mai frumos rol al vieţilor sale: Făcătorul de Teatru Act. Ajuns, uite, la „venerabila” vârstă de 10 ani. Şi aşezat, de public, actori sau critici, ca reper al sublimului. Pe scenă şi nu numai. Mai nou, dacă lucrurile se întâmplă ca la Act, e de bine!

„Practică mineritul, sub pretext că fac artă“

Teatrul Act s-a născut, ca toţi mântuitorii sufletelor noastre, într-un fel de grotă. O pivniţă de pe Calea Victoriei 126. Fostă trezorerie de bancă, adăpost antiatomic, beci al Securităţii. Şi unde s-au adunat, ca să-şi ţină de frig, la început, după scandalul de la Teatrul Odeon, din 1994, Marcel Iureş, Alexandru Dabija şi vreo 22 de prieteni: „Lucrurile au intrat în zona miracolelor, dincolo de logică, lege, real. S-a creat un proiect şi am primit 55.000 de dolari, de la Connex. Bani pe care, evident, am început să-i muncim. La Act sunt oameni care, de fapt, practică mineritul, sub pretext că fac artă. Stau în subteranele teatrului 17 ore pe zi, la lumină artificială şi oxigen porţionat. Pentru că au înţeles ceva: e suficient să aprinzi un chibrit şi lumea vine să se încălzească”, povesteşte Marcel Iureş.

Comoara din pivniţă

În zece ani, Act şi-a luminat pivniţele, cu graţie: teatru, bibliotecă, ceainărie, seri de lectură, concerte, expoziţii. Şi, peste toate, un pian. O bijuterie, mai exact. Un Steinway & Sons, model B-211, de 64.500 de euro. Tot o nebunie, să aduci asemenea comoară într-un beci! Dar ce nu face Marcel Iureş când îl ia cu febră, din lipsă de muzică, de pildă, între două festivaluri George Enescu, în România. „Într-o lună şi jumătate am adunat toată suma. În mintea sponsorilor cred că a fost ceva de genul: ăsta-i nebun, daţi-i banii, să scăpăm de el!“

„După cât de mare e temperatura din sufletul tău”

Asemeni tuturor celor petrecute din iubire, Teatrul Act este dincolo de bine şi de rău. O aventură, o nebunie, utopie curată. Nu-i găseşti o schemă logică nici s-o cauţi cu lumânarea. Şi, totuşi, cum poate fi gestionat un asemenea proiect, ca să ajungă la performanţele actuale? Tot ca-n iubire, susţine Marcel Iureş, adică simţind: „Habar nu aveam cum se trăieşte fenomenul ăsta, l-am deprins din mers. El se conduce după cum simţi, cu intuiţie, nu cu tehnici de management”. Şi simţitul ăsta, cu fineţe şi strălucire de diamant, cum funcţionează? „După cât de curat eşti, după cât de mare e temperatura din sufletul tău, din oase, din creier…”
