Nici vorbă de omuleţi verzi cu antene!
Clasificarea întâlnirilor cu OZN-urile a fost propusă la începutul anilor ’70 de astronomul J. Allen Hynek, principalul expert al U.S. Air Force în domeniu, acceptată unanim şi completată ulterior:
- observaţii îndepărtate (văzute de la o distanţă de peste 150 m):
- lumini nocturne (35-45% dintre raportări)
- obiecte diurne (rotunde, ovale, triunghiulare, în formă de ţigară etc.)
- obiecte radar şi radar-vizuale
- întâlniri apropiate (văzute de la o distanţă mai mică de 150 m):
- întâlniri de gradul 1 – cele care sunt doar vizuale
- întâlniri de gradul 2 – cele care lasă urme pe sol, în vegetaţie, pe corp, în aparatură ş.a.
- întâlniri de gradul 3 – în care sunt semnalate „entităţi biologice”, eventual ocupanţi ai OZN-ului (doar 1% dintre raportări)
- întâlniri de gradul 4 – presupusele răpiri de oameni efectuate de ocupanţii OZN-urilor şi conversaţiile martorilor cu aceştia
- întâlniri de gradul 5 (6) – presupun contact şi comunicare directă cu extratereştrii şi cu civilizaţia lor.
Jacques Vallee a completat cu o altă clasificare, care ţine cont, în plus, de gradul de stranietate, de credibilitatea martorilor, de verificarea făcută de un specialist ufolog etc.
Entităţile biologice descrise cu ocazia întâlnirilor de gradul 3 sunt, de obicei, „omuleţi cenuşii” înalţi de 1-1,20 m, cu capul mare, fără păr, cu ochi imenşi şi negri, nas şi urechi aproape inexistente, gura fiind doar o tăietură. Membrele sunt foarte subţiri, mâinile au patru, cinci sau şase degete, organele de simţ sunt diferite de ale noastre sau mai dezvoltate. Poartă un fel de combinezoane atât de mulate, încât se confundă cu pielea. Nu prezintă semne de sexualizare şi nici nu se cunoaşte cum se alimentează. Mai rar raportaţi, dar destul de răspândiţi, sunt „nordicii” sau „blonzii” de tip atletic, de 2,10-2,30 m, cu plete lungi, îmbrăcaţi în robe albe până la glezne. Au mai fost semnalate şi entităţi „reptiloide”, „insectoide” etc. Entităţile biologice extraterestre pot să treacă printr-un obiect aparent solid, sau pot deveni invizibile. Se spune că reuşesc asta „prin controlul nivelelor de vibraţie, având structuri foarte laxe”, şi profitând de „dualitatea undă-particulă şi de anumite proprietăţi ale mecanicii cuantice”.
