Desecretizarea tăieturilor din ziare
Planeta a fost pusă pe jar în aprilie de o presă furibundă, care ne-a servit ca pe o epocală dezvăluire un gest oarecum birocratic. În secţiunea de arhivă publică a site-ului FBI, relativ nou născută şi botezată semnificativ „The Vault” (seiful) au fost postate două documente, în facsimil, purtând ştampila de unclassified încă din 1977, respectiv 1981, şi referindu-se la evenimente petrecute în New Mexico. Este vorba despre o adresă a FBI despre Silas Newton, condamnat pentru înşelăciune şi fraudă, care furnizase presei (reporterului Scully – vă amintiţi filmul?) informaţii false privind presupuse OZN-uri căzute în apropiere de Aztec. Al doilea document este raportul agentului FBI Guy Hottel, căruia un anchetator al US Air Force îi relatase că au fost recuperate trei OZN-uri căzute din cer, fiecare conţinând câte un extraterestru. Presa a speculat că ar fi vorba despre incidentul de la Roswell, neglijând cu nonşalanţă detaliile şi fugind ca de tămâie de o documentare elementară. La Roswell fusese semnalată prăbuşirea unui singur obiect zburător!
Pentru cine are răbdare să răsfoiască documentele „de curând” desecretizate de FBI, va avea surpriza să găsească nu doar o hârţogărie inutilă, vrafuri de memo-uri interne fără nici un sâmbure de dezvăluiri apocaliptice, dar chiar şi numeroase tăieturi din ziare (probabil sursa cea mai rapidă şi mai credibilă pentru anchetatorii FBI?). Fireşte, nu lipsesc informaţii preţioase, piesele lipsă din puzzle-ul istoriei noastre recente. Altfel, bine camuflate.
