Sylvester Stallone îi aduce în filmul său pe mulți dintre eroii filmelor din anii ’80 şi ’90, dar și pe unii mai noi. În film apar Eric Roberts și Dolph Lundgren, din școala veche, dar și Jet Li și Jason Statham, din valul mai nou al eroilor de acțiune.
Pelicula are aceleași puncte tari și slăbiciuni ca și filmele de acțiune din anii ’80: dialogurile sunt slabe, scenele de acțiune decente, dar care nu reușesc să te țină în scaun până la capăt. În orice caz, filmul acesta ori îți aduce aminte de filmele copilăriei, ori îți dă aceeași impresie pe care ți-o lasă un film difuzat la Pro TV după 22:00. Punctul forte este castingul, faptul că Stallone a reușit să adune atâția actori ai filmelor de acțiune. Până și Arnold Schwarzenegger, care acum este guvernator, apare pentru câteva zeci de secunde alături de Stallone și Bruce Willis. Din păcate, scena de mai sus este compromisă de dialogul extrem de sec dintre cei trei. Cam asta este problema în tot filmul, castingul e prost utilizat. Dacă vreți să vă aduceți aminte de filmele de acțiune ale anilor ’80 mergeți la Eroi de sacrificiu, dar fără să aveți nici un fel de pretenție.

Recomandare: Mai bine vizionaţi unul dintre filmele mai bune în care joacă Jason Statham, cum ar fi „Transporter“ sau „Crank“ – sau chiar mergeţi la „Macete“, unde cu siguranţă o să râdeţi.
