Dacă aţi văzut Shaun of the Dead sau Hot Fuzz, filmele lui Simon Pegg si Nick Frost, aveţi idee în mare cam despre ce e vorba. Parodii sau comedii cu referinţe comice la filmele de gen. Dacă în celelalte două râdeam de peliculele cu zombies sau de acţiunile unor poliţai prea zelosi, acum ne distrăm cu un extraterestru foarte amuzant. Vocea extraterestrului Paul este Seth Rogen, pe care l-aţi văzut în Superbad sau Knocked Up. Ceea ce este diferit la Paul, faţă de precedentele comedii, este că acum avem un fel de combinaţie între cei mai buni regizori si actori de comedie din SUA si UK. Si asta se vede, filmul fiind usor americanizat. Ceea ce nu e neapărat un lucru rău. Dacă sunteţi amatori de SF, Star Trek, Star Wars sau ET si vreţi să vedeţi unele mituri legate de omuleţii verzi si Area 51, într-o manieră comică, nimic nu ar trebui să vă oprească în a vedea Paul.
Recomandare: „Burke and Hare”, un film în care joacă Simon Pegg şi Andy Sorkin, cel care l-a interpretat pe Golum în „Stăpânul inelelor”. Pe lângă asta, Simon Pegg are un rol într-o bandă desenată, „The Boys”. Incredibil.
