În luna martie revista Flacăra va găzdui o serie de articole pe tema fenomenului discriminării, redactate de către studenţii Facultăţii de Jurnalism din cadrul Universităţii Alexandru Ioan Cuza, din Iaşi. Proiectul, la care suntem parteneri, se desfăşoară în cadrul campaniei Comisiei Europene Pentru Diver­sitate. Împotriva Discriminării şi îşi propune să atragă atenţia tinerilor şi, în mod special, viitorilor jurnalişti asupra problematicilor discriminării şi diversităţii.

Campania de infor­mare pan-europeană Pentru Diver­sitate. Împotriva Discriminării se des­făşoară încă din anul 2003 şi are ca temă combaterea discriminării pe criterii ce ţin de origine etnică, rasă, religie sau credinţe, vârstă, dizabi- lităţi şi orientare sexuală. Totodată, campania îşi propune să crească gradul de conştientizare a publicului cu privire la fenomenul discri­minării şi să ajute la o mai bună înţelegere a legislaţiei UE în această privinţă.

De la lansarea sa, în 2003, cam­pania a strâns laolaltă aproximativ 500 de organizaţii şi a derulat sute de activităţi informative, creative şi de divertisment.
