Interviu cu domnul YALCIN NAK, Director General Adjunct Acibadem
- Cum a început istoria Acibadem? Ce înseamnă Acibadem astăzi?
- Am început în 1991 cu o clinică de cartier, de aici si numele spitalului (n.r. – Acibadem este numele unui cartier din Istanbul si înseamnă “migdală amară”). Pe vremea aceea erau 25 de paturi si 20 de doctori. Astăzi, Acibadem Health Group este cel mai mare grup de sănătate din Turcia si înseamnă 12 spitale, 8 clinici, laboratoare si peste 10.000 de angajaţi dintre care 1.500 de doctori si 3.000 de asistente. Mai mult decât atât, am încercat să construim un sistem integrat de companii dezvoltat pe patru mari direcţii: sănătate (spitale, clinici, laboratoare), asigurări de sănătate (suntem în top 5 în Turcia), construcţii (putem oferi spitale la cheie statului sau investitorilor privaţi interesaţi) si, nu în ultimul rând, un ultim element de care suntem extrem de mândri, Universitatea Acibadem care este, deja, la cea de-a treia generaţie de studenţi.
- Aveţi planuri de extindere în afara Turciei?
- Până acum cinci ani activitatea noastră s-a desfăsurat doar în Turcia. Cifrele însă ne arată că tot mai mulţi pacienţi străini vin la noi să se trateze, fapt pentru care ne-am reconsiderat strategia. In acest moment suntem extrem de atenţi la tot ceea ce se întâmplă în domeniul sănătăţii în ţările apropiate nouă, iar România poate fi considerată o prioritate pentru noi.Poate că în viitorul apropiat vom gasi un partener pe plan local, asa încât românii să poată beneficia de experienţa si calitateaAcibadem fie printr-un spital, fie printr-un centru de diagnostic.

- Medicina sportivă este unul dintre punctele forte ale Acibadem.
- Asa este. Acibadem este extrem de implicat în viaţa sportivă din Turcia. Suntem sponsori medicali pentru echipele naţionale de fotbal, volei si baschet dar si, evident, pentru echipele de fotbal Fenerbahce si Besiktas. Mulţi dintre sportivii cu probleme s-au tratat la Acibadem pentru că aici lucrează medici specializaţi si bine pregătiţi în domeniul medicinei sportive si avem programe de terapie la cel mai înalt nivel. Acum 5-10 ani sportivii nostri mergeau în străinătate să se trateze iar uneori carierele lor sportive se încheiau mult mai devreme. Acum, viaţa competiţională s-a prelungit si, fără falsă modestie, acest lucru se datorează serviciilor oferite de Acibadem.
- Care este secretul succesului Acibadem?
- Suntem extrem de atenţi la tot ceea ce înseamnă satisfacţia pacienţilor si calitatea serviciilor. Oamenii admiră, asteaptă si preţuiesc calitatea si experienţa, de aceea la Acibadem veţi găsi cei mai buni doctori si cel mai bun personal specializat. Toate acestea sunt lucruri de care beneficiază nu doar pacientul ci si rudele acestuia, pentru că, până la urmă, boala este o experienţă care afectează întreaga familie. Oameni bine pregătiţi si atenţi la nevoile pacientului si ale familiei acestuia – acesta este secretul succesului Acibadem. In plus, eu consider că munca pentru sănătatea oamenilor îţi oferă o mare satisfacţie. Intotdeauna spun că am o slujbă pe care le-o pot descrie cu usurinţă părinţilor mei.
