Restaurant: Parfum de Old City

Old City Lipscani Beer Garden e un pub aparte între localurile din centrul istoric al Bucureştiului. Deschis cu numai şase luni în urmă, Old City a devenit repede un nume important în zona Lipscani atât pentru atmosfera şi meniul oferit clienţilor cât mai ales pentru evenimentele culturale care au loc periodic aici.
Dacă Lipscaniul şi străzile aferente nu sunt tocmai ceea ce aţi numi oraş vechi într-o capitală europeană, nu dezarmaţi. Refugiaţi-vă în pub-ul Old City! Veţi gusta ceva din farmecul atmosferei de altă dată, ferindu-vă privirile de aspectul dezolant al multora dintre străzile care alcătuiesc centrul istoric al Bucureştiului. Pubul este situat între Lipscani şi Blănari, având două intrări.
Amenajat într-o clădire veche de 100 de ani, pe locul fostului restaurant Rapsodia, pub-ul este cel mai mare local din zonă – 750 mp – cu un salon imens proaspăt renovat, o terasă în spate generoasă, pe care cele câteva mese amplasate în faţa pub-ului nu o anunţă, iar în curând se va deschide la subsol clubul Old City, la fel de mare şi el.
Meniul este internaţional, iar cel care dă tonul aici e chiar maestrul… Pavarotti! Mai exact, un bucătar român care a lucrat mult timp în Italia, îi seamănă mult regretatului tenor Pavarotti, dar care interpretează arii în bucate din cele mai diverse zone ale lumii. Mândria sa o reprezintă specialitatea casei: platou german (bradwurst, türinger, coaste de porc) – 60 de lei, platoul Lipscani (cârnaţi, coaste de porc, cartofi la cuptor şi salată) – 30 de lei, antricotul de vită cu legume – 35 de lei, salata Old City (piept de pui, nucă, struguri, salată verde, dressing de feta) – 30 de lei, sau crispy şniţel de pui – 22 de lei. Aşa cum anunţă şi numele său, Old City Lipscani Beer Garden, aici berea curge în valuri fie că e bere nefiltrată, fie filtrată, iar vinul casei este Vinul Cavalerului–Sauvignon Blanc – 40 de lei/750 ml.
Conceptul la Old City este Good Food, Good Beer, Great Friends, iar dacă tot vorbim despre prieteni, atunci trebuie să spunem că Old City este un amic bun al evenimentelor culturale. Dacă e miercuri, de la 20.30, avem teatru cu actorii de la Teatrul de Artă Bucureşti – comedii la grădină, iar înainte de spectacol avem lansări de carte de la editurile Tritonic şi Crime Scene, joi, de la aceeaşi oră, avem jazz, vinerea sau sâmbăta, de la 23.00, se organizează tot felul de evenimente cum au fost Saturday Fever cu DJ Arrow, Zumba Party ori Karaoke Night. La Old City se organizează, de asemenea, seri de tango, de flamenco sau de salsa. Au cântat sau urmează să susţină concerte aici Pro Consul, Șuie Paparude şi Vama Veche. Printre vedetele care s-au împrietenit deja cu Old City se numără membrii trupei Metallica, prinţul Paul de România şi Mona Muscă.
