Sergiu Celibidache, înapoi acasă după 100 de ani

În semn de recunoaştere a locului pe care  îl ocupă celebrul dirijor în muzica  universală, „UNESCO“ a declarat  2012  An Aniversar Sergiu Celibidache.Centenarul Celibidache, aniversat în această vară,  ni l-a adus  din nou acasă pe reputatul muzician într-un mod  în  care  el  singur n-a reuşit  să o facă de-a  lungul tumultuoasei sale vieţi, oricât  de mult  şi-a dorit.  Fundaţia Sergiu Celibidache, condusă de fiul acestuia, Serge Ioan Celibidachi, a oferit românilor, în cadrul Festivalului Sergiu Celibidache, bucuria întâlnirii cu  muzica şi legendara personalitate a celui pentru care  „să  trăieşti   înseamnă să  trăieşti evoluţia sunetului,  evoluţia stărilor afective, nu să le înţelegi“. Au avut loc masterclass-uri la care  mari   instrumentişti ai  lumii  au  predat tinerilor  muzicieni  români,  expoziţii foto  şi lansări de carte inspirate din viaţa marelui dirijor, proiecţia filmelor Grădina lui Celibidache (un documentar despre viaţa  şi activitatea maestrului, profesor şi compozitor, realizat chiar de fiul  acestuia), Don’t  do anything,  let it  evolve (film semnat Jan Schmidt-Garre despre geniul muzicii   lui  Sergiu  Celibidache) şi  un  documentar cu aceeaşi  temă  (un  colaj din  înregistrările  aflate în arhiva TVR), lansarea unei monede aniversare de către Banca Naţională a României. Sergiu Celibidache a cunoscut faima ca dirijor în întreaga lume, fiind cel care a condus Orchestra Filarmonică din  Berlin şi Orchestra Radio  din  Stuttgart, Orchestra Naţională din Paris şi Orchestra Simfonică  Radio din Stockholm. În 1979, a primit funcţia de director muzical general al oraşului München şi cea de dirijor permanent al orchestrei filarmonice din oraşul  german, pe  care  Sergiu  Celibidache a reuşit  să o facă recunoscută ca una  dintre cele mai bune  orchestre simfonice din lume.
