Sportiv dar totodată elegant, A3 Cabriolet îşi face apariţia exact la timpul potrivit pentru noul sezon de fiţe ce debutează în primăvara lui 2008. Primul A3 a fost lansat pe piaţă în 1996, fiind şi primul model destinat noului segment de piaţă definit de Audi: automobilul compact de lux. Cu A3 Cabriolet, Audi pătrunde uşor într-un segment de nişă – automobilul decapotabil compact cu patru locuri, care cunoaşte o creştere dinamică la nivel mondial, dar mai ales în Europa.
Cu finisaje şi linii elegante, Audi A3 Cabriolet atrage toate privirile. Plafonul este realizat din material textil şi are astfel o greutate scăzută. Poate fi deschis în doar nouă secunde cu ajutorul unui sistem cinematic cu acţionare hidraulică, iar atunci când este deschis ocupă foarte puţin spaţiu datorită modului de pliere în Z.
Plafonul decapotabil este disponibil în variantă semi-automată şi complet automată, ultima beneficiind de o izolaţie fonică şi termică specială.
Structura caroseriei este compusă predominant din oţeluri cu duritate mare şi foarte mare, iar ranforsările multiple îi conferă maximă rigiditate şi siguranţă în caz de impact. Puternica grilă Singleframe şi farurile domină partea frontală a acestui automobil decapotabil compact, iar luminile de zi reprezintă o caracteristică tipică designului Audi. Luminile spate funcţionează cu fibră optică şi tehnologie LED.
Habitaclul modelului A3 Cabrio combină o varietate de materiale confortabile. Calitatea finisajelor şi designul atrăgător încearcă să confere o atmosferă de eleganţă sportivă. Habitaclul este perceput ca spaţios şi deschis, în acelaşi timp fiind protector. Bancheta din spate fracţionabilă 50:50 este rabatabilă, putând fi desprinsă de portbagaj. Astfel, se creează un culoar larg şi înalt ce măreşte capacitatea portbagajului de la 260 la 674 litri.
A3 Cabrio va ieşi din producţie echipat, la alegere, cu unul dintre cele două motoare TFSI sau cele două TDI. Toate cele patru sunt motoare cu turbocompresor şi funcţionează pe baza tehnologiei injecţiei directe, performanţele lor înscriindu-se între 105 CP şi 200 CP. Ca dotare opţională, modelul poate fi echipat cu transmisie S tronic cu dublu ambreiaj, ce permite schimbarea celor şase trepte de viteză aproape instantaneu.
Suspensia dinamică îi conferă noului Cabrio o agilitate superioară. Aceasta este completată de o servodirecţie electromecanică sofisticată, care creează o legătură strânsă între şofer şi şosea fără a face compromisuri în ceea ce priveşte puterea şi performanţa automobilului. Suspensia spate cu patru braţe gestionează în mod separat forţele longitudinale şi cele laterale, pentru a îmbina confortul excelent cu proprietăţile de manevrabilitate sportivă. De asemenea, pentru acest model, există şi opţiunea unei suspensii sport.
Audi oferă pentru A3 Cabrio liniile de echipare Attraction şi Ambition. Ambele au dotări standard interesante, iar linia Ambition include, printre altele, jante din aluminiu de 17 inch, suspensie şi scaune sport. Cei ce doresc şi mai multe opţiuni pentru un condus dinamic pot alege între pachetul pentru exterior sau pachetul pentru caroserie sport din gama S, disponibile la quattro GmbH. Gama largă de dotări opţionale individuale cuprinde numeroase sisteme de informare şi divertisment, precum şi sistemul audio Bose.
Audi A3 Cabriolet este disponibil în România la un preţ de pornire de aproximativ 30.000 de euro, pentru motorizarea 1.8 TFSI 160 CP.
California Dreaming
Ferrari a transmis presei primele imagini ale modelului California, care o să fie starul salonului auto de la Paris din luna octombrie a acestui an. Cu un motor V8 nou de 460 cai putere, o cutie de viteze cu ambreiaj dublu şi şapte trepte şi un acoperiş metalic retractabil, căluţul se anunţă o nouă maşină de vis.
California este parte din noua generaţie de Ferrari-uri care şi-au făcut debutul în 2004, odată cu modelul 612 Scaglietti şi care a avut ca ultim exponent pe 430 Scuderia. Noua maşină se alătură familiei V8 ce s-a definit mereu prin putere şi performanţă. Ea este totodată plasată alături de 612 Scaglietti în segmentul de prestigiu al grand turismelor.
Caroseria şi şasiul noului model sunt construite din aluminiu, iar motorizarea este asigurată de un V8 plasat pentru prima oară în istoria mărcii central faţă. Motorul de 4.300 centimetri cubi produce 460 CP la 7.500 rotaţii şi permite un sprint de la 0 la 100 km/h în mai puţin de patru secunde. Cutia de viteze semiautomată dispune de şapte trepte de viteză şi de un ambreiaj dublu. Ea permite schimbarea treptelor în milisecunde, dar asigură şi un consum şi emisii decente pentru o astfel de maşină.
Confortul rulajului este asigurat de suspensia spate nouă de tip multilink. California este echipat cu sistemul exclusiv de control al tracţiunii F1-Trac care a debutat pe 599 GTB Fiorano şi care a fost adaptat pentru a face faţă cerinţelor unui GT. Frânele Brembo cu discuri din material ceramic, oferite în standard, garantează o frânare extrem de eficientă. La interior, cabina a fost tapiţată de către artizanii Ferrari folosind numai material de calitate. Noile accesorii şi scaunele, volanul, tabloul de bord şi sistemul audio, alături de o aerodinamică îmbunătăţită asigură plăcere la condus, indiferent dacă acoperişul este pliat sau nu.
Ferrari California se adresează unor proprietari ce-şi doresc o maşină care înglobează tot ceea ce căluţul cabrat reprezintă din punct de vedere al design-ului, sportivităţii şi inovaţiei, dar care oferă şi o versatilitate nemaintâlnită până acum la marca italiană.
