Piaţa Vladimir din Sankt Petersburg – univers rece sugerat cu inspiraţie de scenografa Andrada Chiriac – este locul unei întâlniri întâmplătoare între doi oameni trecuţi de prima tinereţe. Vera şi Pavel. Ea este vânzătoare în piaţă, iar el cerşetor. Povestindu-şi frânturi de existenţă pentru a-şi justifica neîmplinirile, Vera recunoaşte în Pavel pe cel de care fusese îndrăgostită în adolescenţă. Pavel al lui Emil Hossu capătă profunzime prin gesturile teatrale ale unui fost actor şi prin privirile încurajatoare ale unui om care are nevoie de Vera pentru a-şi trăi frumos restul vieţii. Pavel trăieşte între tăcerile care lasă să se stingă speranţe şi mişcările largi ce umplu spaţiul scenei.

Împreună cu regizorul Petru Hadârcă, cei doi fac din premiera Teatrului Nottara un spectacol frumos.
