To be or not to bin

Ossama bin Laden e mort! În sfârşit! Clădirea în care trăia de multă vreme (!) împreună cu toată familia (!!) şi cu o gaşcă-ntreagă de fideli a fost luată cu asalt de către trupele speciale americane. Cu sau fără ajutorul pakistanezilor, care ştiau sau n-aveau habar de acţiune – depinde ce ştiri aţi citit. Dacă nu ne-a scăpat nouă vreuna, până azi nu s-a spus câte persoane se aflau acolo, câte au fost ucise, câte rănite, câte eventual au fugit, dacă americanii au suferit pierderi etc. După cum a rămas ca-n gară şi răspunsul la întrebarea „De ce n-a fost arestat şi ulterior judecat?” Căci bin Laden, s-a recunoscut, nu era înarmat. Dar – a zis un oficial de la Casa Albă – „nu cred că e nevoie să fii înarmat ca să te opui arestării”. Probabil a strigat „Nu vreau!”, a vorbit urât, s-a strâmbat la ei, le-a arătat pumnul. Drept care l-au şi aruncat în mare, sub motiv să nu devină mormântul lui loc de pelerinaj. Păi, nu devenea dacă nu ziceau unde-i. Bine, să nu fim cusurgii, important e că s-a terminat. Dar oare ce s-a terminat?

Terorismul e în floare

Asasinii (Hashshashini) erau o sectă islamică apărută la sfârşitul secolului XI, având o structură piramidală de comandă, copiată de toate societăţile secrete ulterioare. După unii, numele e un derivat de la… haşiş, pe care asasinii îl fumau când se pregăteau să ucidă. Fondatorul sectei, Hassan bin Sabah, a fost coleg de scoală cu poetul Curţii Regale persane, marele Omar Khayyam! Refugiat în Egipt după o escrocherie bună de DNA, bin Sabah a dobândit o cunoaştere aprofundată a Cabalei evreiesti şi a conceput secta Asasinii studiind, între altele, organizarea şi practicile Marii Loje din Cairo, „străbunica” organizaţiei Illuminati. Din aceeaşi Lojă s-a dezvoltat şi cultul Roshaniya, o teroare pentru autorităţile… afgane. Vedeţi cum vin de se leagă toate.

Scopul final al sectei Asasinilor era – conform istoricilor – conducerea omenirii de către câţiva oameni bolnavi de putere, sub masca unor motivaţii religioase. Metoda prin care urma să fie înfiinţată această nouă orânduire era nici mai mult nici mai puţin decât asasinarea în masă a tuturor adversarilor. În acest fel, ieşim din paradigma războaielor – cu tot cu victimele lor colaterale -, a luptelor pentru supremaţie, şi intrăm în „logica” extincţiei fanatice, care mai târziu a căpătat numele de terorism.

Una dintre doctrinele Asasinilor stipula că „Nimic nu este adevărat şi totul este permis”. Pe de altă parte, alde Hassan ştia să momească: se spune (o spune inclusiv Marco Polo) că fondatorul a descoperit o vale pe care a „popu- lat”-o cu palate şi grădini, cu animale exotice şi femei frumoase. Tinerii din regiune erau abordaţi prin cârciumi, îmbătaţi şi aduşi în „paradis”. Nu mai era nici o problemă să li se obţină loialitatea! Să recunoaştem că bin Sabah era mult mai generos decât bin Laden, al doilea promiţând fecioare pe celălalt tărâm, în vreme ce primul le oferea pe bune, fie şi doar pentru câteva zile.

Oricât ar fi de neplăcut, din acest model s-au inspirat toate societăţile secrete europene, religioase sau laice, în frunte cu Cavalerii Templieri. De altfel, se pare că au existat „schimburi de experienţă” între Asasini şi Templieri, în cadrul unor operaţiuni militare comune desfăşurate în timpul Cruciadelor. Într-o cronică se deplânge faptul că Templierii acceptaseră „să se alieze cu acel prinţ groaznic şi sângeros numit Bătrânul Om al Muntelui, prinţ al Asasinilor”. Fireşte, e un mare sarcasm al istoriei faptul că luptătorii pentru supremaţia creştină au ajuns tovarăşi cu musulmanii fanatici…

Dar există şi alt tip de ironie a sorţii: întemeietorul Asasinilor a fost asasinat de către fiul lui, Mohammed, otrăvit la rându-i de progenitura sa, care aflase de planul pus la cale de Mohammed pentru a-l ucide… Oficial, la 1250, mongolii şterseseră din istorie secta Asasinilor. Neoficial, mici grupuri există şi azi, aşteptând probabil un moment prielnic pentru relansarea mişcării.

Istoric, apariţia terorismului este asociată cu Revoluţia franceză, mai exact cu Teroarea iacobină, care a culminat cu dictatura lui Robespierre. Este motivul pentru care şi azi se consideră că terorismul are obiectivele politice, de cucerire sau păstrare a puterii, deşi de cele mai multe ori motivaţiile sunt de alt ordin, religioase ori naţionaliste. În toate cazurile, însă, un element comun, prezent şi în definiţia banală a cuvântului „teroare”, este înspăimântarea, încercarea de creare a unei puternice senzaţii de nesiguranţă, de frică aproape animalică. Teroriştii nu speră, probabil, că, după explozia unei bombe şi moartea câtorva oameni, li se va oferi orice-or vrea ei, ci că vor reuşi să destabilizeze sistemul, să creeze o presiune asupra populaţiei, care la rândul ei să preseze oficialităţile. În acest sens, dezvoltarea IT&C le-a dat o nesperată mână de ajutor, pentru că o decapitare anunţată pe internet şi văzută la TV are un impact emoţional incomparabil cu cel al unui articol de ziar relatând aceeaşi crimă.

Prima încercare de definire a terorismului, aşa cum îl înţelegem azi, datează din 1937 şi a fost formulată la Liga Naţiunilor (actuala ONU): „Toate actele criminale îndreptate împotriva unui stat sau făcute ori planificate pentru a crea o stare de teroare în mintea anumitor persoane, a unui grup de persoane sau a publicului larg”. Vagă şi fără a reuşi să facă diferenţa între terorism şi război. Nu există până azi o definiţie unanim acceptată. Lucrurile sunt şi mai mult complicate de existenţa terorismului de stat. Esenţial este însă nu cine şi cum, ci împotriva cui: spre deosebire de o acţiune militară, beligerantă, terorismul este explicit îndreptat împotriva populaţiei civile. Indiferent ce idei cred că slujesc teroriştii, victimele lor nu au nici o responsabilitate în situaţiile pentru care atacatorii se consideră nedreptăţiţi. Acest caracter face terorismul să fie odios şi detestat de toată lumea civilizată.

Teroriştii au „acoperit” toate zonele civile: străzi, magazine, teatre, stadioane, metrou, tren, avion, pieţe, discoteci,clădiri publice etc. Parcă ar încerca să ne transmită mesajul: Nicăieri nu sunteţi în siguranţă!
