Un manager, câştigător la proba viteză

Charismatic, cu o atitudine nonşalantă de sportiv obişnuit să câştige, şi cu o alură pe măsură, Viktor Nikolic a atins performanţa de a nu bifa nici un eşec in business. Face afaceri de la 18 ani, iar acum, pariul vârstei de 34 se numeşte „Quick24″, unde este director general.

I Domnule Nikolic, la ce vârstă v-aţi gândit prima oară că v-ar plăcea şi aţi putea face afaceri?

Este o idee care mă urmărea încă din copilărie. Am simţit mereu o mare plăcere în actul vânzării. Probabil era vorba chiar despre un talent. De aceea, a fost doar o chestiune de timp până când să devin independent financiar. Treaba a devenit serioasă după vârsta de 18 ani.

I Care este bagajul obligatoriu ca să porneşti o afacere?

Cel mai important este să îţi defineşti clar un scop, un ţel şi o idee de afacere. Iar toate astea trebuie să ţi se potrivească ţie, ca personalitate.

I Şi la ce este obligatoriu să renunţi, ca să porneşti o afacere?

Pentru a da drumul unei afaceri de succes, trebuie să investeşti mult. Nu e vorba numai de bani, dar şi de timp, ceea ce comportă uneori renunţări în plan personal. Iar pentru asta ai nevoie, cu siguranţă, de ambiţie şi tenacitate.

In afaceri cel mai mult m-a ajutat o înţelegere foarte bună a cifrelor.

I Cât din actuala criză este pentru dv. ameninţare şi cât oportunitate, pornind de la ideograma chineză a noţiunii de criză, care conţine cele două simboluri: ameninţare şi oportunitate.

Crize vor apărea întotdeauna, dar nu avem voie să le privim dintr-un unghi negativ. O criză ne aduce mereu atât o şansă cât şi o ameninţare. Important este cât de bine suntem pregătiţi, mai ales cum reacţionăm la noile condiţii şi cerinţe ale pieţei. Eu consider actuala criză ca o mare şansă pentru a ne adapta la situaţia grea. Suntem forţaţi să ne optimizăm procesele de muncă şi să căutăm noi idei. În vremuri de „boom” nevoia de dezvoltare rămâne de multe ori neglijată.

I Credeţi în vorba „sunt prea sărac ca să îmi permit lucruri ieftine”?

Depinde de ce nivel de „ieftin” vorbim. În vremurile de azi este posibil să cumperi produse ieftine şi totuşi de o calitate superioară. Şi totuşi, în principiu, calitatea costă. Căci nimic nu este gratis. Ceea ce rămâne decisiv este raportul dintre preţ şi serviciu. Ce primesc de banii mei? Răspunsul la această întrebare trebuie să şi-l dea fiecare singur, pentru că şi cerinţele sunt diferite. Noi, cei de la Quick24.ro răspundem tuturor acestor cerinţe.

I La o căutare pe google, numele dv. apare pe zeci de pagini, legat de rebrandingul celui mai popular magazin on-line de modă şi lifestyle din România, Quelle, care a devenit mai rapid, sub numele Quick24. Ce înseamnă mai rapid ?

Faţă de cum era înainte, o mare parte din marfa oferită se găseşte acum direct pe stoc. Acest aspect are o influenţă pozitivă asupra timpului de livrare. Dar mai important rămâne aspectul serviciilor oferite. Primele optimizări au asigurat, mai ales pe linia serviciului cu clienţii, un timp de reacţie cu mult mai rapid. Suntem mult mai uşor de contactat şi putem prelua dorinţele clienţilor direct, individual şi mult mai repede. Iar în acest an am planificat un număr de proiecte interesante care vor sublinia numele nostru, Quick24.

I Quick 24 vine într-o piaţă încă prea puţin educată atât pentru comerţul on-line cât şi pentru cel prin poştă. Ce vă propuneţi să schimbaţi şi să adăugaţi nou, la oferta către consumatori? Cum vreţi să-i atrageţi pe cei încă „neconvinşi”?

Nu aş spune deloc că piaţa românească este prea puţin educată pentru comerţul online! Între 2006 şi 2010, România a avut una dintre cele mai bune şi rapide creşteri la numărul de legături internet pe gospodării din întreaga Uniune Europeană. Este vorba de o triplare a legăturilor de internet, iar tendinţa este în creştere. Noi oferim clienţilor produse pe care de cele mai multe ori nu le găsesc în magazine. Noi importăm produse din Germania şi avem mare grijă la aspectul calităţii. Clienţii nu îşi asumă nici un risc. Dacă produsele alese nu se potrivesc sau nu le plac, aceştia pot trimite comanda înapoi şi primesc banii.

I Ce know how din experienţa dv. anterioară aduceţi în gestionarea afacerii Quick24?

Eu am luat practic parte la înfiinţarea Quick 24, din 2005, cu fapt şi sfat. Am gestionat activităţile de marketing şi IT. Pe vremea aceea, desigur, sub numele Quelle, pentru care am lucrat practic aproape 17 ani. M-a ajutat enorm experienţa de lungă durată în domeniul comerţului prin poştă, acumulată în Germania. Funcţii le deţinute de-a lungul anilor mi-au permis să lucrez pentru firme renumite, internaţionale, atât din comerţ cât şi din industrie. Din suma bogată de contacte, adunate de mine, profită acum în primul rând Quick 24.

I Ca manager, ce v-aţi propus pentru 2011?

Nu neapărat legat de Quick24.

Mi-am promis că voi petrece în sfârşit un concediu „fără job”, cu familia.

I Care erau materiile preferate în şcoală?

Economia, chimia, matematica şi informatica.

I La un bilanţ propriu, care este cel mai mare succes managerial?

Primul pas ca antreprenor, cu punerea bazelor primei mele firme în 1996. Deşi eram în continuare angajat, acesta a reprezentat pentru mine personal un mare şi important pas.

I Dar cel mai mare eşec?

Din fericire, nu pot să numesc nici unul.

I Unde vedeţi România peste 5 ani?

Nu îmi place să dau o prognoză de lungă durată pentru oameni sau ţări. Îmi doresc însă, bineînţeles, ca situaţia economică din România să se stabilizeze. Şi cred că sunt deja câţiva indicatori care arată în această direcţie. EBWE – Banca Europeană de Dezvoltare – a făcut de curând (25 ianuarie 2011) o prognoză pentru dezvoltarea economică a României cu o creştere de 1,1%. Îmi doresc din suflet ca, în ciuda veştilor din ultima vreme, ştirile pozitive să predomine şi chiar cred că ţara este în stare să depăşească această criză şi să ajungă, mai devreme sau mai târziu, la stabilitatea dorită.

I Care ar fi primele trei sfaturi de viaţă pe care le-aţi da copiilor dv.?

Să nu uite niciodată de unde vin, unde sunt pe moment şi unde vor să meargă. Restul vine de la sine.
