Nu, nu e Flacăra Violet.

E, pur și simplu, Flacăra.

Arde din 1911.

Adică de 99 de ani.

A fost exact așa cum a fost și timpul în care a apărut.

Cel care a fondat-o – Constantin Banu – a dorit-o „deasupra pati­milor oarbe“.

Astăzi este exact așa cum a visat-o încă de la primele numere.

De douăzeci de ani rezistă fără alt sprijin decât cel al cititorilor ei.

Fără publicitate de la stat și fără să aibă în spate vreun mogul. Fără compromisuri politice sau de altă natură.

E un lucru care ține, în aparență, de magia, paranormalul Flăcării Violet.

Dar e vorba doar de o revistă care îi bucură pe cititorii ei.

Flacăra.
