Multă disperată-amărăciune s-a adunat în sufletul acestui regizor de primă mână care se numeşte Mircea Danieliuc (autor al neuitatului Iacob – şi nu numai!), care ne aduce, iată, pe ecrane, ultimul său film finalizat după aproape doi ani de la începerea producţiei, din motive financiare extra-artistice şi stupid-birocratice: o „comedie“ feroce, interpretată magistral de către nişte necunoscuţi şi demonstrând (a câta oară?!) înaltul profesionalism şi imensa sa sinceritate în a dezvălui nu doar imensele tare, cât mai ales năuceala unui popor minţit sistematic de peste 18 ani încoace…!

Filmat aproape exclusiv „din mână“ de către operatorul Gabi Kosuth (şi într-o dominantă sepia, perfect adecvată decorului dezolant – o combinaţie amară între locuinţe în ruină, stâlpi cu cablurile din cupru furate sau „intenţii“ de noi construcţii, lăsate încă în paragină chiar înainte de a fi finalizate, Legiunea străină urmăreşte, pe diverse planuri (poate prea multe!), întreaga harababură mediatică în care se zbate un grup de moldoveni încrezători până la prostie, amăgiţi de promisiuni deşarte: ei îşi oferă banii chivernisiţi cu greu ba unui escroc care îi ademeneşte în a se angaja într-o fracţiune militară occidentală (excelent interpretat de către singurul nume mai cunoscut al distribuţiei – Rică Răducanu!), sau se lasă escrocaţi de către un primar tembel, sau pleacă dracului la căpşuni… etc. etc. (Ba unul chiar şi moare de-a binelea într-un accident stupid – pare-se în Austria! – şi, aici fiind singurul moment „grosier“ al lui Danieliuc: este trimis poştal în patria-mumă, într-un coşciug superb din mahon lustruit… dar având toate organele interne… lipsă!).

Una peste alta: un film dur, „incomod“ ca mai toate filmele acestui regizor, folosind înjurături sau expresii vulgare care nu-i mai pot deranja decât pe „puriştii“ ce mai cred, încă, precum că România (chiar şi intrată, bâldâbâc, în Ieuropa!) include o naţiune de oameni sensibili şi puri, adică o originală adunătură de 20 de milioane de uşi de biserică, puse una peste alta…!

Mai reproduc, în încheiere, o frază a lui Mircea Danieliuc, extrasă dintr-un recent interviu: „Nu mai merită să profesezi regia de film. Este o meserie lipsită de demnitate. Tot timpul trebuie să baţi pe la uşi, să cauţi, să aduni bani. Cred că, mai devreme sau mai târziu, o să mă retrag“.

…Şi asta în timp ce nişte tineri cineaşti români au obţinut (numai ei ştiu prin câte chinuri!) rezultate spectaculoase…!?
