Dublă premieră românească: Romanian Crime Writers Club şi premiile sale
Romanian Crime Writers Club – prima asociaţie a scriitorilor de romane poliţiste din România îi premiază, la Târgul de Carte Gaudeamus, pe câştigătorii primului concurs de naraţiuni thriller & mystery. Evenimentul va avea loc sâmbătă, 20 noiembrie, orele 18:00, la standul trustului Publicaţiile Flacăra, editura Tritonic şi Crime Scene Publishing (standul 17), nivelul 0.00 al Romexpo, Pavilionul Central, în prezenta scriitorului George Arion şi a editorilor Alexandru Arion şi Bogdan Hrib.
Câştigător al ediţiei 2010 a concursului organizat de RCWC a fost desemnat Denis Grigorescu (n. la 15 decembrie 1976 în Piteşti), al cărui roman, Criminali în paralel, va fi lansat în aceeaşi seară. Premiul II a revenit scriitorului Ion Ochinciuc.
Cu aceeaşi ocazie vor fi înmânate diplome: editurii RAO – pentru cel mai bun program editorial mistery&thriller in 2010, editurii Nemira – pentru cele mai bune traduceri în limba română in 2010, ale unor romane mistery&thriller, seria Andreea Camilleri, traducător Emanuel Botezatu, scriitorilor Anders Roslund şi Borge Hellstrom – pentru BOX 21, cel mai bun roman străin mistery&thriller tradus în limba română în 2010, şi Jurnalului Naţional, pentru promovarea constantă a genului mistery&thriller în România, în 2010.

CARTEA CARE NE FACE MAI INTELIGENŢI, în exclusivitate la GAUDEAMUS
Trustul de presă Publicaţiile Flacăra, vă invită duminică, 21 noiembrie, ora 12:00, la lansarea, în exclusivitate pentru România, a cărţii “50 de teste pentru a gandi rapid“, de Charles Phillips. Evenimentul are loc la standul 17, nivelul 0.00 al Romexpo, Pavilionul Central, unde expun trustul de presă Publicaţiile Flacăra, editura Tritonic şi Crime Scene Publishing, în prezenţa editorilor şi a unui invitat special, psihologul Georgeta Ghinea.
“50 de teste pentru a gândi rapid” este o colecţie de jocuri-teste pentru dezvoltarea unei gândiri rapide şi face parte din seria de şase volume “Cum să fii mai inteligent”, o suită de strategii practice prin care se poate dobândi o gândire mai alertă şi mai limpede, se capătă abilitatea de a găsi soluţii inedite acolo unde alţii nu văd nici o ieşire, se potenţează capacitatea propriului nostru creier.
Concret, prin rezolvarea celor 50 de puzzle-uri, prezentate succesiv pe trei categorii de dificultate şi cu o “provocare” finală, cititorul dezlegator îşi antrenează abilităţile de gândire rapidă, îsi exersează observarea rapidă a conexiunilor şi efectuarea cu viteză a calculelor. Actul dezlegării aduce, pe lângă plăcerea jocului, şi o intensificare a activităţii cerebrale în general – deci şi abilitatea de a da răspunsuri prompte şi de a improviza.
Celelalte cinci volume ale seriei sunt destinate dezvoltării unei gândiri creative, logice, vizuale, tactice şi, respectiv, laterale.
Autor a peste 25 de cărţi dedicate dezvoltării personale, Charles Phillips face parte din echipa care a elaborat celebrul The Reader’s Digest Compendium of Puzzles & Brain Teasers (2001), iar seria “Cum să fii mai inteligent” (titlu original “How to think”) a fost publicată în 19 ţări, din America de Sud până în Japonia şi apreciată de milioane de cititori.
Cărţile “Cum să fii mai inteligent” sunt oferite în exclusivitate de editura Flacara, în cadrul colecţiei “Biblioteca Rebus”, şi se vor găsi la toate chioşcurile de presă, numai împreună cu revista Rebus, lider de necontestat al revistelor de divertisment din Romania.
