Florin-Silviu Ursulescu, care a călătorit şi a lucrat alături de Pittiş chiar la Radio3net.ro, îl păstrează viu în memorie: „Două momente speciale îmi vin în aceste clipe în minte. Primul se referă la vizita pe care i-am făcut-o în casa sa veche din str. Cazărmii (Uranus), acolo unde am descoperit un Florian Pittiş înconjurat de discuri muzicale, cărţi.
Ţinea foarte mult la casa aceea fiindcă ea reprezenta vechiul Bucureşti şi a suferit foarte mult din pricina demolării ei. O a doua amintire legată de Pittiş se referă la vizitele mele pe care i le făceam în cabina strâmtă a actorilor la Teatrul Lucia Sturdza Bulandra, sala Grădina Icoanei. Deşi corpul neînsufleţit al lui Moţu a fost depus la Sala Izvor a Teatrului Bulandra, lumea trebuie să ştie că marile împliniri ale actorului Florian Pittiş s-au realizat pe scena de la Grădina Icoanei şi nu la Izvor.
Imi aduc aminte cum ne provoca la discuţii despre muzică, teatru, probleme civice şi nu puteai sta indiferent în faţa lui. Nu aveai voie! Pe de altă parte, avea un simţ al umorului foarte dezvoltat. Eram într-un cerc de prieteni şi, la un moment dat, unul dintre noi s-a supărat pe un altul şi a aruncat cu o casetă video după el lovindu-l în cap. Pittiş, în loc să spună: Vai, i-ai dat cu caseta în cap!, a spus: Hei, ce era pe casetă? Am râs cu toţii copios. Am lucrat împreună cu Florian Pittiş la Radio3net.ro. Era un om extrem de pasional în tot ceea ce făcea. Greu să exprimi un punct de vedere contrar în faţa sa. Ţinea foarte mult să te convingă de dreptatea a ceea ce spunea. Adesea chiar avea dreptate, după cum, adesea, renunţai la punctul tău de vedere. Florian intrase în lumea calculatoarelor şi asta îl făcuse mult mai minuţios. Devenise dintr-un artist, un manager (redactor-şef) şi un pasionat al computerului, iar asta îi dădea o exactitate atât în calcule, vorbe cât şi în argumente.”
