De loc din Pakistan, a venit în Bucureşti în 2004. Prima impresie, care nu contează şi, de data asta, parcă nici nu-i de bază, a fost că „oamenii sunt drăguţi, casele frumoase, iar centrul vechi al Capitalei are o arhitectură interesantă, cu iz interbelic”.

A doua impresie, însă, a fost neplăcută. I s-a îmbolnăvit băieţelul si a înţeles cum merg lucrurile într-un spital românesc: „Când am văzut în ce condiţii erau trataţi copiii la Spitalul Marie Curie, am decis că trebuie să fac ceva în legătură cu asta. Doctorii sunt profesionisti, foarte drăguţi, dar clădirea necesită renovare, este foarte veche”.
