Atenţie la neatenţia copilului dumneavoastră!

La Bucureşti a avut loc primul Congres Naţional de Psihiatrie a Copilului şi Adolescentului. Era nevoie de aşa ceva? Da, au spus medicii de la Asociaţia Română de Psihiatrie a Copilului şi Adolescentului, Liga Română pentru Sănătate Mintală alături de spitale şi alte asociaţii de profil din ţară. Studiile constată o creştere alarmantă a unor afecţiuni precum ADHD (tulburări de atenţie şi concentrare, hiperactivitate), simptomatologia de spectru autist în lume, în rândul copiilor. Cunoaşterea acestor stări, în primul rând de către părinţi şi familie, este de foarte mare importanţă în prevenirea şi intervenţia în asemenea cazuri.

Un procent de 5% dintre copiii cu vârsta şcolară prezintă tulburări comportamentale specifice ADHD în lume. Afecţiunea debutează în copilărie, la 40% dintre adulţi dispare, în timp ce la restul de 60% continuă să se manifeste şi în perioada de maturitate.

Devierea comportamentală, abandonul şcolar, consumurile de droguri, depresiile micuţilor finalizate tragic prin suicid – toate aceste tare reproşate copiilor şi adolescenţilor au, din păcate, rădăcinile în copilărie, chiar în perioada prenatală. Evoluţia mentală a bebeluşului este determinată de o serie de factori despre care mulţi părinţi, inclusiv unii medici de familie, nu ştiu mai nimic. Congresul Naţional de Psihiatrie a Copilului şi Adolescentului, prin vocea dlui prof. dr. Mircea Tiberiu, preşedintele Societăţii Naţionale de Neurologie şi Psihiatrie a Copilului şi Adolescentului din România, sau a dnei Bogdana Tudorache, preşedintele Ligii Române pentru Sănătate Mintală, a încercat să informeze medicii de familie, părinţii, profesorii şi persoanele care au în îngrijire copii asupra problemelor de sănătate mentală la cei mici. ADHD este o tulburare de comportament care se manifestă prin deficit de atenţie, dificultăţi în desfăşurarea unei sarcini şi impulsivitate a copilului, probleme care mai târziu se traduc prin depresii, dificultăţi de păstrare a locului de muncă, divorţuri, tabagism, alcoolism, abuz de droguri, infracţionalitate. Diagnosticarea la timp şi recurgerea la psiholog ori psihiatru nu trebuie să reprezinte o stigmatizare ci o mână de ajutor dată copilului şi familiei acestuia. Acum există zece centre comunitare de sănătate mintală care pot ajuta familiile şi copiii cu probleme, anul acesta se vor mai deschide 35 şi se speră ca până în 2010 să existe 115 de astfel de centre în toată ţara.

Printre factorii de risc în cazul ADHD se numără: alimentele pline de E-uri pe care mama le ingerează pe perioada sarcinii şi care afectează dezvoltarea neurobiologică a micuţului încă din perioada intrauterină, stresul mamei pe toată perioada gravidităţii, apoi, o etapă extrem de sensibilă este cea între zero şi trei ani. „Felul în care se dezvoltă copilul în această perioadă rămâne neschimbat pe parcursul întregii sale vieţi. De aceea noi am susţinut întotdeauna proiectul cu îngrijirea copilului de către mamă acasă cel puţin în primii trei ani de viaţă. S-a demonstrat că tatăl e şi el extrem de important, practic e un fel de instrument similar cu foarfeca de la viţa-de-vie, taie şi ajustează acolo unde e nevoie. Sintagme de genul îmi cresc singură copilul! reprezintă de fapt un mod de a te opune unei legi naturale în dezvoltarea copilului. în primii trei ani de viaţă, creierul îşi formează scheme metacogni- tive. Părinţii trebuie să ştie că orice copil are probleme! Şi copiii fac depresii primăvara şi toamna, şi copiii au supărări despre care e absolut esenţial să afli la timp. De aceea precocitatea intervenţiei începe în familie. Este necesar ca un copil să aibă o dezvoltare normală în primii trei ani de viaţă. Altfel, la trei ani apar crizele de afect – copilul dă cu picioarele în mamă, bunică etc.

De ce se întâmplă aşa ceva? Fiindcă există un deficit educaţional, părinţii cedează la un pupic şi sunt dispuşi să admită toate poftele odraslei pe motiv că e mic, lasă că învaţă când o fi mare. Total fals! Antrenarea neuronilor, încercarea de a-i face un program copilului, evident, fără aberaţii, responsabilizarea copilului îi scutesc pe părinţi în a avea necazuri mai târziu, în adolescenţă, când adesea nu se mai poate face nimic”, a explicat medicul Mircea Tiberiu. Vârsta cuprinsă între zero şi trei ani nu reprezintă o perioadă critică în dezvoltarea doar unei afecţiuni ca ADHD ci şi pentru apariţia unei tulburări de spectru autist. Autismul e o tulburare a creierului care interferează cu abilitatea de a comunica şi de a relaţiona cu cei din jur. Autismul este o afecţiune congenitală, este prezentă din naştere, nu se dezvoltă în timp. Mama îşi poate da seama de aceste probleme încă din perioada când bebeluşul are între zero şi trei luni. Cum? „Copilul evită privirea ochi în ochi. Nu răspunde la jocul simplu de genul cucu-bau, există aşadar o lipsă de empatie. Diagnosticarea la timp şi un tratament adecvat duc la mărirea capacităţii viitorului adult cu probleme de autism de a trăi independent de cei din jur”, a mai spus Mircea Tiberiu.
