Cum se poete face cariera le Ruşchita

Carierele de marmură Ruşchiţa (Cariera Veche-Gropan şi Cariera Nouă- din Dealul lui Ionel), situate în munţii Poiana Ruscăi la o altitudine de 800 de metri, cuprind cea mai mare rezervă de piatră naturală aflată în exploatare din România.

Sculptorul maghiar Istvani Ferenczy (1772-1856) este primul care a atras atenţia asupra calităţilor remarcabile ale marmurei de Ruşchiţa, com­parând-o cu marmura de Carrara care-i era familiară, în 1883 Johann Biebel (1817-1900), un renumit inginer constructor din Banat, începe exploatarea devenind primul proprietar al carierei, pe care supranumeşte „a magyar Carrara”. înainte de sfârşitul secolului pro­ducţia carierei Ruşchiţa ajunsese de700de tone pe lună, aici lucrând300- 350 de muncitori. După moartea lui Biebel, fiul său Janos, unul dintre arhitecţii Turnului Eiffel, continuă expluatarea, în 1912 marmura de Ruşchiţa ajungând să fie exportată în 12 ţări. Numeroase lucrări de con­strucţii realizate în acea perioadă au fost executate din această nobilă piatră în Imperiul Austro-Ungar cum ar fi, spre exemplu, Palatul Băncilor din Viena.

Cu o singură întrerupere, la naţionalizarea din anii ’50, extracţia a conti­nuat neîncetat. în anii ’70, Domul din Milano a fost restaurat sută la sută cu marmură de Ruşchiţa. Ea se regăseşte atât în lucrări particulare precum vila sultanului din Brunei, sau vila din Monte Carlo a pilotului de Formula Michael Schumacher, cât şi în edificii publice, ca Parlamentul din Budapesta, sediul BBC din Mainheim etc., şi, cu voia dumneavoastră, ultimul pe listă, Palatul Parlamentului din Bucureşti.

Din 1998 Titan Mar (compania edilului Capitalei, Adriean Videanu) a achiziţionat pachetul majoritar al SC Marmosim SA Simeria, proprietarul carierei Ruşchiţa. în 2001 începe exploatarea în Cariera Nouă din Dealul lui Ionel, situată în imediata apropiere a Carierei Vechi-Gropan.

Extracţia marmurei de la Ruşchiţa s-a făcut în formă de clopot răsturnat, formându-se Cariera Gropan, care între anii 1884 şi 1960 a atins adâncimea de 130 m. După anii 60 începe exploatarea în felii orizontale, descen­dent, şi fâşii longi­tudinale, real- izându-se deschiderea plat­formelor de extracţie ale actualei cariere.

Echipamentele moderne permit extracţia lunară a peste 2.000 metri cubi de marmură cu un număr de aproximativ 40 de angajaţi. Condiţiile de lucru sunt difi­cile în carierele de la Ruşchiţa, mai ales din cauza tem­peraturilor: peste 40 de grade Celsius vara şi cu până la 10 grade mai puţin decât temperatura zonei, iarna. Muncitorii simt pe pielea lor înţelepciunea vor­belor „iarna nu-i ca vara” – să fie oare ordin de la partid?

Tăierea marmurei se face după tehnologii mo­derne cu filouri (un fel de lanţuri diamantate, angrenate de motoare puter­nice), haveze cu discuri (imense drujbe de tăiat roca), perne şi pene metalice gonflabile, şi cu foreze speciale.

Odată ajuns în fabrica din Simeria, blocul brut de marmură este prelucrat de maşini cu comandă nume­rică, ce pot prelu­cra cele mai com­plexe suprafeţe şi canturi şi pot chiar reproduce obiecte de artă.

In ciuda evoluţiilor în domeniul echipamentelor, prelucrarea manu­ală a marmurei e la mare căutare, în acest sens, în fabrică existând şi o linie de semifa­bricate cioplitorie.

Nu ştiu cum scot unii bani din piatră seacă, dar ştiu cum scoate Titan Mar-Marmosim bani din piatră neseacă, dispunând de o capacitate de producţie de aproximativ 20.000mp/lună marmete şi 5.000 mp/lună lastre, 60% din producţie fiind destinată exportului în Japonia, Italia, Israel, Taiwan, Rusia, Singapore etc. Totul este bine şi frumos, o afacere lăudabilă.

Problema care se impune a fi pusă este necesitatea protejării marmurei de Ruşchiţa. Dacă avem în vedere că rezerva de mar­mură a carierelor Ruşchiţa este estimată la 1,8 milioane de metri cubi şi presupunem că se extrag lunar în medie 2.000 de metri cubi, în urma unui calcul simplu, în aproximativ 75 de ani aventura mar­murei va lua sfârşit.
