Cătălin Teniţă pune “filtru uman” în social media

Aventura numită internet a început de la cărţi pentru Cătălin Teniţă, fondatorul treeworks.ro.

„Întotdeauna am citit, din primul an în care am învăţat să citesc mi-am luat cărţi. Şi acum îmi cumpăr multe, din păcate mai multe decât am timp să citesc. Dar tot citesc cel puţin o carte sau două pe săptămână. Şi recunosc că e un hobby destul de costisitor. De exemplu, achiziţionez de pe e-bay cărţi în ediţie limitată, semnate de autori, e amuzant cum ajung să mă tocmesc pentru a scoate un preţ cât mai bun. Dar este cam singurul mod în care mă relaxez”, spune Cătălin Teniţă, care are un background profesional variat. A făcut liceul de informatică, a urmat Dreptul, a fost jurnalist şi a tradus pentru Editura Nemira…

La începuturile anilor 2000, Cătălin împreună cu Remus Cernea, cunoscut pentru activităţile sale din zona umanistă, au înfiinţat o asociaţie culturală, Noesis. „Mie mi-ar plăcea să fiu profesor de istorie, dar sunt mai burghez de felul meu, am înţeles că trebuie să-ţi mai plăteşti şi curentul şi să mănânci. Povestea cu Noesis se întâmpla acum vreo 10, 11 ani. Publicam cărţi electronice pe un site, a mers destul de bine, (în sensul că eram vizibili si făceam o muncă de pionierat care ne plăcea enorm) ne-a ajutat şi Microsoft. Cred că am fost primii care am scos cărţi virtuale în România. Apoi am publicat enciclopedii cu I.L. Caragiale, cu Eminescu, cu Brâncuşi. Reuşisem să polarizăm această piaţă, mai era doar Liternet. A fost o perioadă frumoasă, e drept că exista şi mai mult entuziasm decât acum.”

„Fundamental de la un moment încolo, internetul devine social. Nu mai este o colecţie de broşuri, ci de comunităţi”.

La scurt timp după ce a terminat facultatea s-a angajat la RoGenerator, care începuse să dezvolte proiecte destul de puternice, structurale. „Abia după vreo doi ani mi-am zis să încep afacerea mea şi să fac ceea ce îmi doresc. Asta e Treeworks.” Cu ce se ocupă treeworks? „Cu două lucruri. Unu. Proiecte mari, site-uri pe zona de publishing din România. Acum avem multe proiecte pe afară, având în vedere că piaţa românească a scăzut. Dar nu de proiecte duc lipsă, mai mult mă îngrijorează că nu găsesc oamenii de care am nevoie. Şi doi. Proiectele noastre personale, tpu.ro, zelist.ro, gustos.ro”

TPU.ro este unul dintre cele mai mari site- uri de socializare din România, (de fapt cel mai vizitat conform SATI). „De multe ori ai întrebări la care nu găseşti răspuns prin google. De exemplu, nu găseşti o grădiniţă cu program prelungit în zona 1 Mai. Ai nevoie de un răspuns de la cineva care şi-a dus copilul la grădiniţă acolo şi poate să-ţi spună despre asta din propria experienţă. Unii schimbă idei, ajung să se cunoască, alţii pun doar întrebări punctuale. Ne focusăm să creăm o atmosferă pozitivă. Sunt copii care au descoperit problemele legate de sex şi le discută cu inocenţă. Oamenii răi sau idioţi vor râde de ei, dar există şi oameni normali care înţeleg că e vorba de nişte copii şi răspund ca atare. Românii, şi aici e şi vina presei, nu au apetenţă spre discurs. De vină e societatea patriarhală în care trăim şi faptul că părinţii nu i-au învăţat pe copii să argumenteze. TPU e ca o agoră, în care fiecare discută ce vrea. E nevoie de căldură umană. Multe întrebări din lumea asta n-au nevoie de informaţie, ci de un anumit environment, de o anumită înţelegere. Cred că filtrul uman este foarte important în privinţa internetului, iar TPU este despre orice, prin filtrul uman.”

„Pe internet sunt două tipuri de comunităţi compuse din oameni care iniţial nu se cunosc din viaţa reală, dar care au un interes comun şi ies împreună, se ajută între ei, cum sunt motociclişti.ro. Şi doi, comunităţile generaliste, ca Twitter, Facebook, unde relaţiile între oameni sunt mult mai vagi, doreşti să le comunici ceva, dar nu ţii neapărat să-i cunoşti. Nici blogosfera nu mai e ce era odată. Acum e folosită ca o formă de influenţă politică, socială, economică. Înainte, oamenii tindeau să se exprime mai elaborat în articole care incitau, invitau la un feed-back mai pe larg. Între timp a apărut Twitterul şi eşti silit să scrii 140 de caractere, iar pe Facebook dai like-uri. Decât să comentezi, dai un like. Ce se întâmplă? Nu poţi să ai în acelaşi timp o relaţie cu foarte mulţi oameni şi profunzime foarte mare. Internetul ucide relaţiile mai profunde. Şi comunităţile de genul ăsta… E foarte mult zgomot pe internet, asta-i partea nasoală.”

„Oamenii generează conţinutul, oamenii generează valoarea. Eu vreau să fiu ca statul minimal. Să creez condiţiile, dar nu să impun o direcţie. Doar să mă asigur că oamenii nu îsi scot ochii.”

Un alt site al treeworks este platforma de monitorizare zelist.ro, care se ocupă de furnizarea unor date statistice începând de la monitorizarea blogurilor, până la comentariile din online. „zelist.ro a început de la întocmirea unor topuri, dintr-o joacă. Acum avem clienţi mari cărora le oferim servicii de monitorizare complete. Pe lângă acestea, analizăm şi activitatea ziarelor în social media. Astăzi este tot mai important ca, dacă ai un ziar online, să ştii cum te plasezi în social media, să controlezi comentariile la articole, preluările. Deja, social media generează undeva la o treime din căutările de pe internet. Ca să dau un exemplu. Într-o zi, un tabloid a publicat un articol cu o , doamnă în vârstă care se plângea că n-a fost violată suficient. În social media, din primele cinci ştiri, trei erau despre acest subiect. Practic, prin analiza acestor date înţelegi cam care sunt trendurile, ce vrea lumea să citească. Or, mai ales pentru companii, acest lucru e foarte important, o formă de sondare continuă.”

Fondatorul unora dintre cele mai accesate siteuri din România nu crede că ideile sunt cele mai importante în demararea unor proiecte. „Cred că idei are toată lumea. Cea mai importantă este execuţia, şi aici e vorba de două lucruri. Peseverenţa, să găseşti o poziţionare şi să fii ferm pe ea şi, doi, să ai echipă bună, să creezi împreună. Noi nu pornim proiectele doar din pasiune. Identificăm nişe. Comunităţile în jurul lucrurilor foarte generale, de exemplu. Să găseşti lucrurile în jurul cărora se pot crea comunităţi virtuale nu e ceva foarte complicat. Aici creăm noi. Site-uri de publishing pentru alţii şi comunităţi pentru noi.” Toate de succes, din câte se pare. Ai vreo reţetă? „Am avut şi eşecuri notabile! Eşecuri care au luat premii! Sunt proiecte care par că vor ieşi, dar nu reuşesc, şi alte proiecte care nu par mare brânză, dar se ridică. E şi o chestie de noroc. Mai bine spus, de analiză şi noroc, de evaluare şi noroc, experienţă, know how… Ţine şi de reţea. Dacă, să spunem, ai un site mai mare, poţi mai uşor să amorsezi un al doilea site.”

Nimic din ceea ce se spune in articol despre acel site de hahat nu este adevarat.
