E ceva (proaspăt) în Danemarca

Cu doar câteva zile înainte de a sosi, pentru o lectură publică (literară, organizată de Uniunea Scriitorilor din România), înaintea noastră a sosit Cohen. A stat unde am stat şi noi, sau măcar pe aproape: la Forum, acolo unde coboram în staţia de metrou. Da, Leonard Cohen. Până acum vreo doi ani, Leo Cohen nici nu avea vogă: voga lui e recentă, mai ales după ce i-au apărut cărţile/cu el sau despre el. El cântă chiar cum e Copenhaga. Sau Copenhaga arată cum cântă el. Totuna. Am regăsit oferta lui în acelaşi program în care am fost insertaţi şi noi, fluturi în acelaşi insectar. Cohen a răguşit cântând sub/în ploaie. It’ s closing time. E o vreme de ora închiderii, când toate cârciumile se duc la culcare. Sau se duc şi se fac pub-uri. Sau se duc şi se fac pulbere.

Catedrala capetelor încoronate

Încă de pe scara avionului, cum cobori, plouă. Plouă întruna. Şi va ploua toată ziua de duminică. E o ploaie cu variaţiuni, când mai intensă, când mai monotonă, ca orchestrată de un compozitor bezmetic & invizibil. Tăios. Plouă tăios. Ca un brici care îţi trece gheaţa pe faţă. Acum înţelegi de ce, de regulă, e ceva putred în Danemarca: fiindcă plouă continuu. Şi înţelegi şi ce e putred: ploaia. Depinde. Pentru alţi ochi, e un lucru reavăn. Ploaia e mereu proaspătă. Şi tu eşti numai în pantofi, iar apa urcă de un centimetru-doi pe trotuar, în ciuda rigolelor. Din aeroport iei metroul, linia galbenă. Mergi vreo şapte staţii, poate mai bine. Cobori în centrul Copenhagăi. Kobenhavn, cum îi spun danezii. Vestită pentru danish pub-urile ei – şi, deopotrivă, pentru Hard-Rock Cafe. E prima oară când vezi, într-o ţară nordică, manechine negre. În rest, toate sunt blonde. Ca şi locuitorii. Ajungi la hotel şi te schimbi. Ploaia îţi intră în piele, pe piele, pe sub piele. Turbezi de atâta ploaie. Plouă fără oprire, ca într-un film canadian cu Al Pacino. Este ora nouă douăzeci, acum zece şi jumătate. Nici nu ne schimbăm şi ieşim să vedem oraşul. O luăm pe marginea canalelor. E mai frig decât ieri, la Viena, unde, fireşte, e mai frig ca la Bucureşti. Oricum, Viena a fost/este superbă. Acolo e, încă, o toamnă liniştită & frumoasă. Deloc pluvionară. Deşi te-ai hotărât să te îmbraci strategic, „foiţă de ceapă”, tot îţi este frig. Pe-o aşa vreme, sigur putrezesc morţii. Îi şi vezi, le şi auzi oasele putrezind, trosnesc, pe urmă se înmoaie. Se prefac în leşuri. Pe mal trec siluete în jogging. Sunt fete superbe, blonde, cu părul desfăcut de vânt, numai în tricou. Tricouri albe, transpirate, dar apetisante. Gurguiele sânilor li se înfioară, dar atât. Nu au nimic pe cap. Nici în jurul gâtului. Nici măcar fulare. Şi eu am: tricou (pe care scrie Guinness), cămaşă neagră, sacou negru, reiat, pulover, haină de ploaie, căptuşită, pe deasupra cu fâş negru. Şi nu alerg. Bărbaţi cu landouri chisnovatice, femei cu landouri idem. Copacii sunt tăiaţi drept, după moda celor din english garden. Cea mai frumoasă lume ni se pune la picioare, dar mohorâtă. În curând (pe la vreo trei) va începe să se întunece, dar noi încă nu ştim asta. Aleksandar Sajin, scriitor danez de origine sârbo-croată, este ghidul nostru. E şi el un est-european, refugiat din Bosnia, în 1992. A trăit, o vreme, în Banja Luka, apoi în Sarajevo. Sarajevo, oraşul masacrului. Al bombei. A avut noroc: a plecat înainte de masacru. N-a văzut carnea fumegând pe tarabe. Pe tarabele din piaţă. A venit cu familia lui. Pe vremea aia, avea doar 28 de ani. Tatăl lui e, acum, în Africa de Sud. Nu i-a plăcut, pesemne, prea mult frigul. Mama s-a întors, între timp, în Croaţia. Stă la Zagreb. Poveşti est-europene, cu destine. Aleksandar are faţa lunguiaţă şi ascuţită, cam aşa, ca în triunghi, faţă de sârb. Şi nume de iskandâr. Adică învingător. Să înveţi să scrii până la expresivitate într-o limbă pe care o îmbrăţişezi la aproape treizeci de ani, e o performanţă. Şi lucrul ăsta să îl faci doar în şaisprezece ani. Să îţi menţii şi limba natală, să scrii şi în sârbă, şi în croată şi, mai ales, să fii traducător. Adică să fii generos. Nu e uşor, pesemne, dar n-ai de ales. Când îţi sare casa în aer, casa fiind Iugoslavia, nici nu mai ştii ce să faci, încotro s-o apuci. Intrăm într-un restaurant oriental. Mâncăm acolo, aşa am hotărât. Şi bem bere. Fiecare cum vrea: albă, nefiltrată, neagră, brună. Sunt halbe mari, de un litru.

Porturi, canale, opere pe apă

După ce ieşim pe uşa pe care tocmai ieşisem, cu zece minute, să fumăm, în frigul umed, care ţi se lipeşte pe lângă corp, aşa, insinuant cumva, Aleksandar propune să vedem biserica din apropiere. Este locul unde se încoronează capetele cu sânge albastru ale Danemarcei. Stăm şi ne reculegem, în spatele sălii, apoi ne plimbăm şi aruncăm un bănuţ în cutia aceea de metal, numai să auzim cum sună. Te ajută să te linişteşti. Şi e în penumbră, în penumbră, cum sunt mai toate lucrurile în Copenhaga. Ieşim iarăşi sub acelaşi cer mortuar, greu, metalic. Cât timp ne plimbăm pe lângă lac, privim la lebedele şi păsările care trec, cu un soi de graţie tristă, parcă măsurând timpul. Timpul lor şi, deopotrivă, al nostru. De pe la ceasurile trei ale după-amiezii prinde să se întunece.

E la nave va

A doua zi alegem alt loc de explorat. Canalele. Portul. Acolo se înşiruie casele celor care meşteresc ceva. Mai ales pentru corăbii. Corăbiile care plecau, în larg, acum un secol. Sau două. Scrie exact „ce” pe frontispiciul caselor. Unii făceau steaguri. Alţii catarge. Alţii, poate, pontoane. Blazonul se află deasupra intrării. Şi este, uneori, de prin 1700 sau 1800 (şi ceva). Armurieri. Meşteri în praf de puşcă. Mergem în lungul cheiului şi ni se face poftă de un hot-dog cu castraveciori muraţi, feliaţi, provocatori de salivare abundentă – ca la mama acasă. După ce trecem de capătul cheiului, începe să se vadă marea, de fapt, doar un golfuleţ. Şi începem să călcăm pe un ponton de lemn, pe care se ridică, în mijlocul apei, o cafenea, o sală de operă şi un teatru plutitor. Se simte, când calci pe ponton, cum se clatină uşor. Şi îţi aduce aminte că, şi pentru marinari chiar, apa e un pământ mai nesigur, care, totuşi, se clatină puţin. Este o clădire din categoria sticlă & beton. Adumbră a arhitectură modernă.

Ne rămâne în cap, totuşi, ceva. Acel ceva văzut în catedrala încoronării. Ceva, cu siguranţă, simbolic. Este vorba de o navă. O corabie. Cum era ea pe la 1600 sau 1700, ba poate chiar şi la 1800. Cu pânze. Un velier mare. Care se află, suspendată, chiar în mijlocul catedralei, undeva în faţa altarului, ca un candelabru. Tradiţie de vikingi, nu-i aşa? Ce ar fi blasfemie pentru alţii, pentru popoarele nordice este înăuntrul sacralităţii. Barcazul spânzură de fire, iar firele sunt văzute, nu de cele din nylon transparent, aproape străveziu. Îndeajuns să ne aducă aminte că ea, nava, este simbolul catedralei înseşi, al lumii. Al lumii care aşteaptă să fie mântuită. Călăuzită. Nava pare să plutească pe ape imponderabile. Cu o săptămână înainte, Cohen cânta, pe 17 octombrie, tuturor navelor din acest port al inimii noastre.

de unde scoti tu treaba asta ca la viena e mai frig ca la bucuresti in viena nu au fost niciodata minus 33 de grade si zapada de 158 cm (in februarie 1954) nici in unele zone din canada nu s-a inregistrat niciodata o asemenea cantitate de zapada cu toate ca viena e zona de munte nici nu stiu ce vorbesc unii frigul de pe timpul iernii se accntueaza maimult pe partea estica a europei (ucraina ,romania , belarus,polonia de est ,rep.moldova nordul bulgariei si rusia) ni pe departe in viena in occident daca nu ma crezi dar iti zic ca sunt expert in arta meteorologiei studiaza datele climatice si ai sa vezi diferenta de frig iarna dintre bucuresti si viena desteptule numai destepti pe lumea asta uite studiaza de exemplu decembrie 2009 la viena temperatura medie a lunii decembrie era de 2,3 grade celsius pe cand la bucuresti -1,0 celsius sau studiaza iarna anului 1963 temperatura medie a lunii ianuarie la bucureti era de minus 9,1 grade celsius iar la viena era de minus 5,4 grade poti sa-mi explici daca nu ma crezi studiaza datele climatice sau poate tu nu stii ca la braila in romania pe data de 7 iunie 1933 a fost lapovita sau ca pe data de 11 mai 1949 a nins , 3 mai 1942 anins ceea ce nu s-a intamplat niciodata la vienna aia a ta ai fost vreodata in orasul kazan sau norilsk sa vezi ce frig e habar nai taci din gura. hmmm….
