În Capitală s-a mai desfăşurat un protest în zadar.

După unii, au fost 30.000 de participanți la mitingul din Piața Constituției. După alții – 100.000. Puțini. Prea puțini, chiar dacă a plouat, a fost frig și ceață. Asta înseamnă că românii nu au ajuns pe culmile disperării. Asta înseamnă că mai pot strânge cureaua.

Asta înseamnă că nu se simt încă destul de umiliți de către cei care îi guvernează și pe care i-au votat cu entuziasm iresponsabil, sau i-au lăsat să se cocoațe în scaunul Puterii, neprezentându-se la vot. Soluții de a scoate țara din criză nu prezintă nici opoziția, a cărei moțiune de cenzură a picat, previzibil, în Parlament. Dar, poate că, de fapt, dorința de a forma un nou cabinet n-o prea ispitește, într-o perioadă atât de tulbure. Iar impresia că toți sunt o apă și un pământ devine tot mai pregnantă.

Urmarea? Un popor se adâncește dezamăgit în el însuși, suferind în tăcere. Suntem tot mai singuri și mai înfricoșați de ziua de mâine. Unii cred că e vorba doar de o amânare, și va veni o vreme în care promisiunile pe care ni le fac politicienii, de douăzeci de ani încoace, vor fi onorate. Eu, unul, mă îndoiesc.
