Ei bine, vampirii cuminţei conduc maşini Volvo. Pentru siguranţă, oare? Recunosc, acest moment din film m-a dat pe spate. Poate sunt până peste cap cufundat în stereotipurile cu vampiri, iar această variantă domesticită mă face să strâmb din nas. Dar parcă puritanismul filmelor din seria Amurg este prea de tot. Acest tip de ipocrizie nu cred că face nici un bine, poate doar creează o serie nouă de frustrări în rândul tinerilor.
Nu ştiu cum s-a putut naşte această struţo-cămilă: mitologie păgână şi morală strictă de tip creştin. Este, probabil, noul tip de marketing promovat de canale americane ca Disney: abstinenţă şi consum. Există un antidot la acest film, el se numeşte Splendoare în iarbă şi ne vorbeşte chiar despre această frustrare şi la ceea ce dă naştere. Nu asta aşteptam de la un film cu vampiri. Nu ştiu ce îi determină pe adolescenţi să le placă această serie. Probabil că doar ei ar trebui să-l vadă.

Recomandare: Vă pot sugera să vedeţi o variantă elegantă a mitului Dracula. Filmul Dracula din 1979 al lui John Badham este poate cea mai reuşită adaptare după romanul lui Bram Stoker, iar Frank Langella este unul dintre cei mai buni interpreţi ai personajului mai sus menţionat.
