Hristos a înviat şi în arabă

Când pleacă într-o altă ţară, pe termen lung sau chiar definitiv, unui bun creştin îi va lipsi întotdeauna biserica de acasă. Sigur că o ia în bagaje, oriunde s-ar duce, metaforic vorbind, dar, totuşi, tânjeşte mereu după slujba de duminică şi rugăciunea spusă de preot în limba maternă. Arabii creştin-ortodocşi din România, însă, nu mai au această durere sufletească. La Biserica Sf. Spiridon Vechi, din Bucureşti, Hristos a înviat, anul acesta, şi în limba arabă!

Turmă de credincioşi în căutarea unui păstor

În 1996, când a vizitat România, Patriarhul Antiohiei, PF Ignatie IV, s-a întâlnit, cum era şi firesc, şi cu nişte reprezentanţi ai arabilor ortodocşi din Bucureşti. Ei au susţinut, printre altele, că ar avea nevoie de un preot din partea Patriarhiei Antiohiei. Pentru nevoile spirituale şi religioase ale comunităţii, pentru spovedanie, îndrumare familială, nunţi, botezuri, Doamne fereşte de înmormântare. Că toate astea le simţi, într-adevăr, doar în limba naşterii tale. Sigur că PF Ignatie a fost de acord şi a adresat chiar o scrisoare, în acest sens, Patriarhiei Române. Vreme de mulţi ani, însă, nu s-a mai auzit nimic despre acest subiect. Până în anul 2007, când arhimandritul prof. dr. Qais Sadiq, preşedintele Centrului de studii ecumenice din Amman, a venit la Bucureşti pentru întâlnirea de 30 de ani de la absolvirea studiilor teologice. Printre foştii colegi de doctorat ai domniei sale se afla chiar Patriarhul Bisericii Ortodoxe Române. Aşa că PF Daniel i-a propus, simplu şi direct, să administreze comunitatea arabilor ortodocşi din România. După o discuţie cu Patriarhul Ignatie, arhimandritul Qais Sadiq a revenit în România, în mai 2008 de această dată într-o vizită pastorală, pentru a cerceta nevoile credincioşilor.

Se pare că arabii ortodocşi din România îşi doresc cu toată fiinţa un preot al lor, de vreme ce s-au mişcat repede şi bine, în acest sens. La slujba de Crăciun, în 2008, s-au adunat în jur de 30 de familii. La Înviere au fost peste 230 de iordanieni, sirieni şi palestinieni. Vestea merge din gură în gură, de la suflet la suflet, ca o mare bucurie care se cere împărtăşită. S-a înfiinţat, deja, Comitetul comunităţii ortodoxe arabe antiohiene din România, format din cinci femei şi şapte bărbaţi, cu atribuţii precise în gestionarea nevoilor spirituale ale acestei turme. Impresionat de entuziasmul lor, PF Daniel a stabilit că Biserica Sf. Spiridon devine un fel de centru al comunităţii cu pricina. O alegere simbolică, pentru că la sfinţirea lăcaşului, în 1996, a participat şi Patriarhul Antiohiei. Tot aici a fost oficiată şi slujba de Înviere, în aprilie, pe două voci, respectiv în arabă şi română. O experienţă inedită, dar plăcută, şi pentru părintele Ioan Iordache, parohul Bisericii Sf. Spiridon.

„Toate evenimentele despre care povestim s-au adunat în ceva foarte frumos”, susţine arhimandritul Qais Sadiq. „Oamenii simt că are cineva grijă de ei, nu mai sunt străini. Am stabilit că revin în România, o dată la două-trei luni, pentru vizite pastorale. Să vedem ce se mai întâmplă, ce noutăţi mai apar, fiindcă sunt arabi ortodocşi şi în Craiova, Timişoara şi Cluj. Avem doi bursieri la Facultatea de teologie din Bucureşti, poate unul va fi hirotonit şi va rămâne preot permanent aici.” O idee pentru care arabii ortodocşi din România se roagă de 13 ani, în fiecare zi lăsată de Dumnezeu. Şi care, uite, acum este pe cale să se împlinească.

Ortodocşii arabi din România sunt recunoscuţi, deja, pentru implicarea lor în problemele sociale ale comunităţii. În zona Patriarhiei, într-o casă îngrijită şi compartimentată corespunzător, funcţionează, de peste trei ani, Asociaţia ortodoxă coptă Sfântul Mina, coordonată de dr. Talaat Takla Mourkus. Cu fonduri adunate doar din prietenii, de la români şi arabi, deopotrivă, asociaţia sprijină peste 200 de familii cu probleme. Asta înseamnă o grămadă de lucruri, de la bani şi educaţia copiilor, până la mâncare gătită, în bucătăria proprie, şi dusă pe la casele oamenilor bolnavi şi neajutoraţi. Şi români, în marea lor majoritate.

Ca un fel de schimb religios, cei peste trei mii de români din Siria s-au bucurat, de Paşte, de o slujbă în limba română, oficiată de părintele George Costea, trimis la Damasc special pentru Înviere.

Bassam Khallouf, om de afaceri: „Este o bucurie foarte mare să avem un preot care slujeşte în arabă, ne ajută să ne păstrăm religia şi tradiţiile, foarte importante pentru noi. Ca să vă dau un exemplu, în Siria actele de căsătorie se fac la biserică, altfel nu poţi merge la nici o cununie civilă”.

Riad Altume, inginer mecanic: „O rugăciune în limba maternă, spusă de un preot din ţara ta, te face să te simţi acasă oriunde te-ai afla. De Florii şi de Paşte a fost exact ca la noi, în Siria, cu lumânări mari, albe, cu flori, ca la nuntă!”
